TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION – GRAPPA ULTRA TRAIL

1. Acceptance of Terms

Participation in the Grappa Ultra Trail implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, as well as any specific regulations for individual races and any provisions communicated by the Organizers prior to the event. Registration and payment of the fee are considered full agreement to these conditions.

2. Definitions

In these Terms:

“Organizer” means the Vivere il Grappa Tourist Consortium and all parties involved in organizing the event.

“Participant” means the individual who has completed the online registration and met the requirements to participate in the race.

“Event” means the Grappa Ultra Trail and all related activities.

3. Registration and Participation Fees

3.1. Registration for the event is valid only after completing the online procedure and paying the participation fee.
3.2. The fee is non-refundable in the event of a participant’s withdrawal, unless otherwise stated by the Organizer prior to payment.

4. Participation Requirements

4.1. Participants declare that they are in good physical health and have reviewed the route, elevation gain, and technical conditions of the trail before registering.
4.2. Participation is at their own risk. The Organizer cannot be held responsible for injuries, accidents, property damage, or personal injury that may occur during the event, before, during, or after the race itself.
4.3. It is the Participant’s responsibility to ensure they are adequately informed about the routes and expected weather conditions.

5. Risks and Safety

5.1. The race may take place in adverse weather conditions. The Organizer reserves the right to modify, shorten, or cancel routes if deemed necessary for the safety of Participants.
5.2. Participants are required to comply with all instructions provided on signage, support personnel, and specific race regulations.

6. Limitations of Liability

The Organizer is not responsible for:

loss, damage, or theft of Participants’ personal belongings;

loss of opportunity, lost earnings, or other indirect damages incurred in connection with participation in the Event.

7. Protection of Personal Data

The data collected during the registration process will be processed in accordance with current data protection legislation and the Privacy Policy published on the website.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the grappaultratrail.com website (text, trademarks, photographs, and digital materials) is protected by intellectual property rights. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of such materials without the written consent of the Organizer is prohibited.

9. Amendments to the Terms

The Organizer reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, promptly notifying Participants via publication on the official website.

10. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law. Any dispute regarding the interpretation, execution, or validity of these Terms and Conditions will be submitted exclusively to the Court of Vicenza (Italy) or another court established by applicable law.
